yes, that is right. free.

to help spread the music of woolgather, we have decided to give a copy of our 2007 E.P. "Disenchantment" to anyone who requests it, FREE.

all you have to do is email your mailing address to casey.woolgather@gmail.com and that's it! after that, a confirmation email will be sent and it will be dropped in the mail by April 1, 2008.

if you feel that you could help woolgather out and would like us to send you 2 or 3 copies for friends, parents, radio stations, record labels, or anything at all that may help us as a band, please add that in to the email you send. we are always happy to know that we have others helping us spread our music like a wildfire.

this is all an attempt to get some excitement brewing for the new album, "The Reality Principle." again we thank each and every one of you for your time and ears, and remember, this is free and there are no strings attached. we love you, cheers!

I know it's been forever since we updated this page, but sometimes it seems we get less attention on Fuzz than we would like. We have decided to stay on top of this page because MySpace is slowly becoming obsolete.

We are doing WONDERFUL in the studio, everything is coming together beautifully. The new album, which is tentatively dubbed "The Reality Principle," will have about 14 or 15 tracks. We are recording in Austin, TX at Boiler Room Studios (a branch of Lone Wolf Productions; owned by Bill Ham, former ZZ Top manager). Our engineer David Dickinson is a godsend. The instruments sound huge, and he is doing a perfect job at capturing who we are and what we are about on tape.

"The Reality Principle" is significantly different than the 3-song EP "Disenchantment" we released a year ago. There is noticeable maturity and evolution musically, beautiful instrumentation, of course the addition of our keyboard player Toby (whom is beyond talented), and a new bass player (whom we are still auditioning). On the album, singer/songwriter Casey Tipton wrote and played all the bass, as well as all guitars and vocals. A few strange and unique instruments will most likely show their faces throughout the record as well.

As soon as we can we will post videos of new songs from our latest shows, as well as clips from the upcoming record and a track listing. We thank you all for your ears and hope you can be as excited as us about the release of the new album and can help generate a hype. We love you all and hope to be in a city near you soon!

before woolgather, there was the band inbliss. we had a number of recordings, most of which were poor quality with next to amateur engineering, and slowly most of those songs have found there way into nothingness, or have been completely re-worked and/or revised.

BUT, we saved one song, re-recorded it (by the same engineer who did the "Disenchantment EP"), and because of requests from long time fans, and the fact that this track is just sitting around collecting dust, i decided to go ahead and post it for your listening/downloading pleasure.

consider it a "b-side" off of the EP. enjoy!

i have made all of the songs available for download, and i will soon have a link for everyone to download the whole EP in a .rar or .zip format, which will include the entire version of "shuttle".

thanks for listening!

last night we were at rehearsal working on new songs and i literally got the chills in the middle of the session from the intensity. with each note being played i lost myself completely, as if every emotion, thought, and energy in my life was venting through those speakers, pounding through the drums, dancing over the piano keys. i realized my one true love. the only love that has never let me down and will never let me down. the only love that will ALWAYS love me back.

lets face it, folks. music is as much a part of life as government, as spirituality. as much a part of life as your cars, homes, cell phones, your lavender oils, your drugs, your alcohol. it is soothing to the energy, the energy that is everything. it lets your soul never forget who you are and what you believe in. the most beautiful kind of art, whispering the most beautiful things into the ears of those willing to listen.

no matter how horrible we are treated, no matter how corrupt our governments are, music will live on and remains the most untouched form of freedom of speech. as our freedoms are slowly taken from us, as are thousands upon thousands of lives, as our media is controlled and our news is filled with propaganda and biased material, tragedies and patriotism. one freedom that is untouchable, our freedom of expression by music and art. lets tell the world that we still feel, we still have our hearts.

we hope you'll come to see us at Lucy's in San Marcos on the 4th of December. come share your energy with us.

cheers,
